Project finance is the key field of our specialization. Area related practice of BCO is wide ranging in two ways: (i) in terms of industries we have worked in; and (ii) in terms of the number of projects we have closed over the past twenty years. BCO has worked with internationally renowned financial institutions and represented national businesses funded by the IFI’s. 

Development banks are actively involved in financing various sectors of the national economy. Handful of projects and national undertakings are annually financed by the international financial institutions, since the country is ranked as the upper middle income country by the World Bank. BCO intensively participates in the considerable amount of project financing deals, averaging from 8 to 10 projects a year.

Our firm renders variety of services in differing industries, ranging from energy production to telecommunications. BCO’s team has managed every legal aspect of project financing. Our lawyers have drafted project agreements, construction contracts, finance agreements, security documents etc. We regularly act in the capacity of local legal counsel, thus providing legal opinions on various legal matters, conducting corporate checks, drafting due diligence reports examining project related materials etc.

With respect to the project financing our firm frequently represents European Bank of Reconstruction and Development.  Moreover, we have worked with Asian Development Bank, International Finance Corporation, OPEC Fund for International Development, European Investment Bank and so on.
