About Amiran

Amiran joined Begiashvili & Co. in 2016 and primarily works on the legal transactions in banking and finance, energy, oil and gas as well as in the areas of corporate and company law, investments and project finance, labor issues, intellectual property and dispute resolution.

Prior to joining Begiashvili & Co. Mr. Makaradze has been working as the Legal Officer at Shuakhevi Hydro Power Project, developed by Adjaristskali Georgia LLC through the project finance scheme supported by IFC, ADB and EBRD and by TATA Power of India, Clean Energy Invest AS, Norway and the International Finance Corporation as equity owners.

His professional experience includes also working for the Norwegian Helsinki Committee (Oslo, Norway), International and European Economic Law Center (Thessaloniki Greece) as well as Georgian Young Lawyers Association (Batumi, Georgia) and the Transparency International Georgia (Tbilisi, Georgia). 

Amiran Makaradze holds LLM in International Commercial, Investment and Trade Law from the University of Oslo (Norway) and Diploma in Law from Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (Georgia). He has also participated in various professional training courses and seminars in Germany, Finland, Austria, Turkey, Norway and etc.
